I enrolled at NFBS in January 2023 and I can confidently say that the activities conducted by the seminary have been instrumental in shaping me into the person I am today. The daily chapel hour, dormitory devotions, and practical Christian services, along with the classes, have equipped me with the necessary skills and character traits to manage any situation and make wise decisions. I am grateful to God for the opportunity to attend Negros Fellowship Baptist Seminary, which has played a significant role in nurturing and preparing me for the ministry ahead.

I enrolled in Negros Fellowship Baptist Seminary in 2019, despite facing challenges such as inadequate funds to pay for my basic needs and school fees. However, I was determined to succeed, and with God's help, I was able to avail the sponsorship program. After four years of rigorous training, I have now successfully completed my studies and become a pastor. Negros Fellowship Baptist Seminary has been an indispensable part of my life and ministry, and I credit much of my character development and skill acquisition to the institution. I firmly believe that NFBS is an invaluable tool and instrument that can be used to train more Christian believers for the church's work, and I pray that God will continue to guide the institution in this mission.

Back in 2014, I attended the Summer Youth Camp, which ignited my passion for studying the Bible. Without hesitation, I enrolled at Negros Fellowship Baptist Seminary upon turning 18, where I gained in-depth knowledge and wisdom that helped me discover the truth of God's love and my purpose in life. Despite facing several challenges, I emerged from NFBS a transformed individual, with newfound skills and character that surpassed my expectations. The supportive community of students and faculty was an invaluable source of inspiration and encouragement, and I am confident that much of my personal growth and development can be attributed to the institution. NFBS is an essential tool to train Christian believers for the church's work, and I firmly believe that God will continue to guide the institution on its mission.

Anilyn Masilac Lauresta Alumna
Hello everyone, my name is Anilyn Masilac Lauresta. I am from Grace Baptist Church in Isio, under the spiritual leadership of Pastor Melecio Parcon Jr. As a junior, I found myself drawn to the church and the lady workers there. I admired them greatly and aspired to be like them. During my high school years, every summer was marked by my attendance at the summer youth camp. One such camp, where Fellowship Baptist Seminary performed a song and Pastor Charles Vidal reported about NFBS, left a profound impact on me. I remember whispering to myself, "Someday, I want to be part of the NFBS family." A year later, my youth pastor followed up with me regarding my college plans. I was at a crossroads, torn between becoming a teacher or a Bible woman, or venturing into Hotel and Restaurant Management. I also harbored the hope of marrying a pastor. My pastor advised me to choose one path, and I chose to attend the seminary. In retrospect, I can see how all these things were added unto me. Today, I am a Bible woman, a preschool teacher, and a pastor's wife. I often find myself cooking meals for small and large gatherings. I am married to Pastor Alan Lauresta, an NFBS graduate. We have been serving at Dinandan Baptist Church since May 1, 2011, and we're blessed with two sons, Josh Alyn Lauresta and Aaron John Lauresta. I attribute who we are in the ministry today to NFBS. It was used by God to mold us, shape us, and teach us sound doctrine. The faculty and staff at NFBS have become my second family - my parents, brothers, sisters, and friends. Through their love, I have felt the love of God. They have always been there for us, through the highs and lows of our ministry. I want to express my deepest gratitude to NFBS for fighting with love and concern to maintain a Godly environment. Thank you for your sacrifices. I pray that you may continue to exist to train more laborers for the Lord. I also want to thank everyone who has prayed for us, loved us, and supported us. May God bless you all. As for me and my family, we will continue to love, pray for, and support our beloved alma mater, NFBS.

It is almost two decades now since I graduated from NFBS. One thing that really influenced into my life and to the ministry is the word “sacrifice”. I remember those days, especially the sacrifices of our teachers. Even though they don’t sometimes receive their salary but because of their love they just keep doing their duties consistently and faithfully. They keep on teaching us, training us and equipping us in order to be prepared for the ministry. My present ministry is bestowed by God through my dear alma mater - the Negros Fellowship Baptist Seminary. And whatever condition I have, even in sacrifices I am not afraid to face them because I have learned it from my teachers. And God never left them nor forsook, and I believe God will also do to me.
